Dog Daycare General Information and Policies
The mission of Dances With Dogs Day Care is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs during weekday business hours. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:
AGE: All dogs must be at least 12 weeks of age or older.
SEX: All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered.
SHOTS: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of DHLPP and rabies vaccinations before first visit and every 3 years thereafter. Rabies is required for puppies over 3 months of age. All dogs must be parasite free. Heartworm preventative is required as well as flea and tick preventative. Titering acceptable. Proof of health checkups required every 2 years.
HEALTH: All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.
BEHAVIOR: All dogs must have a behavior assessment and owners will certify that their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog(s). Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all animals is our main concern.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT: All dogs must be on leash when arriving for day care and when leaving day care. No exceptions.
APPLICATION: All dogs must have a complete, up-to-date and approved application on file.
DAYS AND HOURS: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dances With Dogs Day Care is not an overnight facility. Staff goes off duty at 6:00 p.m. and there is a $1.00 per minute charge for any pet left after 6:00 p.m.
RESERVATIONS: Required 24 hours in advance. Please call to schedule or leave a message on our machine.
